Frequently Asked Questions
1. Who is eligible?
Almost everybody! Referral leads can be submitted by anyone, with the exception of Intermedia employees, anyone residing outside of the US, and anyone younger than 18 years old.
2. What is a valid referral?
A referral is defined as an applicable lead with a company affiliation that has an interest in purchasing Intermedia’s voice and unified communications solutions and/or data services (i.e. email). You must provide Intermedia with the applicable lead’s full name, company name, email address and phone number, and Intermedia shall determine, in its sole discretion, whether the applicable lead is valid.
3. Do I have to be an Intermedia customer to make referrals?
No, the Intermedia Referral Program is open to anyone who is eligible.
4. What if my referral is already in contact with the Intermedia sales team?
Qualifying referrals must not be actively engaged with Intermedia. If your referral is already engaged with Intermedia Sales, you will not qualify for a referral award.
5. Do I need to know the person I am referring?
While it is not a strict requirement, as a professional courtesy, Intermedia highly recommends that you know the person that you refer to Intermedia; however, you must confirm with that person that it's fine for Intermedia to contact them.
6. How does the payout work?
If a referral lead becomes an Intermedia customer, you will be eligible to receive a reward of $50.00 for each Intermedia Unite user and/or $20.00 for each Hosted Exchange mailbox as long as they satisfy the minimum dollar amount for the sale [$50 minimum] and keep the service for a minimum of 90 days. The maximum amount of awards that you can earn for any one referral lead is $5,000.

8. What is “Suggest a Lead”?
Suggest a lead is the easiest referral method. Just submit your contacts through the portal and the Intermedia Rep will handle the rest. We’ll contact your referrals, and you’ll get the credit after a sale is complete.
9. I get an error on the Registration Page that says I already have an account.
You have likely already been invited to the program by your Intermedia Sales Rep. Check your email and click on the link included to complete your registration.
10. What happens after I refer a contact through email, social media or personal URL?
Your contact will click on the link you provided and enter their information. Then, an Intermedia Sales Rep will contact them personally.
